Changes to shop Operation

Traditionally a walk-in business, we have now transitioned to mainly bookings.

This is to manage work load, reduce wait times and enhance the services provided.

Walk-ins will be conducted on Wednesdays only for a limited time to allow time for our valued walk in clients to become accustomised to the changes.

Bookings will be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Outside of business hours appointments are available by request, these will incur an additional fee.

Barber G is the only Barbershop in the region that offers one on one, private appoinments in a proffesional setting. No waiting! Arrive and get your hair cut, beard trimmed, shaved in a private setting.You have the whole shop to yourself and will only have your service conducted by the owner-operator, Barber G himself.

We like to refer to them as a "Hobby".

Some women love a man with a beard (or manly whiskers), others simply cannot handle the fluff!

Not all beards are the same, and every one is specific for its owner. Facial contours, scarring, moles, pimples, patchiness, tufts, curls, fading & blemishes all need to be taken into consideration when deciding which beard style is for you. In many cases enhancement is the key. Making improvements to your lines and edging can drastically improve the appearance of your beard. Length of hair and the shape of the beard you would like to grow are also major factors, so it is a good idea to have a bit of an idea of which direction you would like your beard to grow.

Free-styling techniques that we use in the shop can really make a dull beard very attractive.
